Don’t really know why it never bothered me before. Maybe because we’ve been buying toilet paper from Costco for years and it’s not on their packaging. But there’s no frigging way 6 rolls equals 36 rolls. NO WAY! I don’t care what the phony-baloney (shouldn’t it be phony bologna) numbers about sheets say. I just can’t believe it.

It's TOO SOFT and won't clean the #### off your #######. It just tears up. Can't get it clean to that lickable level, at all. It creates massive dingleberries too.
Anyway, thanks to the TP crisis, I had to resort to choosing Charmin, Charmin, or some leaves from the backyard. I grudgingly bought what was there. I noticed it was the Extra-Strong variety, which was new (to me). Was PLEASANTLY surprised that Carmin got the memo and finally made some TP that would actually clean your ###. It is now a viable second option, but ONLY that variety of Charmin.
As to your OP, it's all a joke. They have made the rolls narrower over the years, then thicker (won't take #### off anyone), and sell it as a "bigger" role, when in fact you have less acreage of TP per dollar. That increases their profit margin by 5% or whatever, and you pay for it.
