I don’t have it, but it looks like they may have fixed the things I didn’t like about Glocks. I’ll be shooting one and likely getting one. I’ve been carrying the S&W M&P.

I carry a G43 with +1 mag extension quite a bit (would carry a bigger extension if it was factory made, would trust it more) but the 10 rounds of the X is intriguing. Also read that you can put a G43 slide on the new G48 essentially making it an all black G43X. May look into seeing if I can buy just that lower if they sell parts yet

You must mean G43 slide on a G43X. The G48 is longer, isn’t it?
BTW, I like the silver upper. Looks different.

ClemTig® Sorry man I missed this yesterday. No, you can put a G43 slide on the G48 lower to turn it into a G43X. Both the G48 amd G43X have the same lowers just different length slides/barrels.

Can't go wrong with a Sig
P238 w/engraved slide
Also have a Sig p938 Equinox
Prefer the .380 for carry - even though they are roughly the same size

I was considering the new P365 but a buddy of mine that is an NRA instructor said even after sending his back for the updated parts he still experiences more striker drag than he is comfortable with for his EDC gun

Unfortunately, I must regretfully inform you that isn’t a Glock 43x. While it certainly looks the part, you got a Springfield instead. However, don’t be discouraged. The XD line is a very solid one, and the striker indicator on the back allows you to visually see when you’re ready to fire, unlock the Glock. Also, the grip safeties of the XD line are an additional safety measure the Glocks lack, but ergonomically acceptable. I think you’ll be pleased.
P.S. You might want to avoid the bayonet. While it is certainly cool, if you sit down the wrong way, you just ain’t going to sound or sing right in church. Otherwise, good choice!

I have a kal Tech .380 and have heard there is a recall specifically on barrell. I don’t know who to take it to. Would like to trade out if this. Would like a Barretta .380

I have owned two Glocks a 19 and a 23 that I got cheap when a gun store closed. They and a Ruger P-85 are the only guns that I have ever owned that I simply could not shoot accurately and I have owned about a dozen pistols.

I used to feel the same way about Glocks as I had a similar experience until I tried the G43. I think the single stack thinner grip is why I have success with it over past double stack Glocks. The weird thing is I am most accurate with a CZ75 by a long shot and it is double stack but it has the best feeling grip of any handgun I have ever held. But it is too big to IWB comfortably.

actually work the slide so it's good to have handy just in case. Generally carry a little S&W .380 auto or a S&W Model 49 revolver. Like the hammer guard on the Model 49. Keeps it from hanging up coming out of your pocket.
