Hello all,
I don't post very often, but read tnet daily. My 3 year old daughter is having her tonsils removed in the morning. If you all wouldn't mind saying a little something for her speedy recovery I would greatly appreciate it. Just a nervous dad hoping for the best for one of my little tigers. Thanks all! Fight Tigers!

and mine is 20. But the hardest part is when something like this comes up and they have to go it alone. The Lord will be her as well as mom and dad. Prayers sent!

My youngest had it done at about that age, and it was harder

on me than it was on her. The doctors and nurses were great though, and the procedure itself was a piece of cake. Sending thoughts and prayers her (and your) way!

The doctor gave my Dad a DISCOUNT to remove TWO of my sisters' tonsils at the same time. They get in the car thinking they are going with their little brother to the hospital.... Boy were they shocked! Didn't speak to me for a week! Good luck with your daughter!

Dang that was nearly 40 years ago. Be the calm, reassuring dad and everything will be alright. You can worry while she's getting it done and can't see you.
Ice cream, jello, and lots of love. And let her cuddle up with you, they always feel better when daddy takes care of them.
