Man, my GF had a helluva day. She works at Synnex on Pelham

Road, doesn't go in until 9am. Called me about 9:30 to say she can't get to work... the gas leak thing has the roads closed. She can't get in, and the people who go in at 7 or 8 are basically trapped there, they can't leave or get out. So she decides to go to her daughter's house in Greer, thinking all this will be over pretty quick, and she can at least grab a cup of coffee and then cruise into work.
Wrong. By this time time the bottom is falling out, and on the way there, there is a bridge that is becoming "suspect". The water is too high. Cars are stopping and turning around. So she has to do the same, and work her way to her daughter's house via back roads. OK, no problem. Finally gets there, and the key doesn't work... her daughter just moved in 1st of the month, and this key is a copy made at Walmart.
So, she's locked out. She thought, well ####, I'll just sit here and monitor things on my phone until I can get to work. But by now her phone is blowing up... people at work are calling her because they need her help. They recently changed the system for what she does, and nobody else there is trained on it nor has a clue what to do.
So she's sitting in that driveway trying to walk people through things, and all the tornado warnings start... and the trees are bending over in the wind, and she's wondering just how safe she is sitting there...
Meanwhile, both daughters are now blowing up her phone... schools & daycares are closing, where are you, can you grab the grandkids.
Just a total cluster. Bless her heart.
