that's not terrible for a RB. Especially considering Wayne is not considered a home run threat anyway.

Why? We knew he wasn't a burner. Everybody knew he wasn't a burner.

A 4.6 for a RB - especially one known for his inside running and work between the tackles - isn't going to kill you. A 4.8 would hurt you.

He doesn't have a fifth gear. Really the only real knock on him, other than you'd wish he didn't run quite so upright.

I don't think that hurts him much, because there's so much tape on him none of that was any kind of mystery to anyone.

he's not helping himself, that's all. if the knock on him is no fifth gear, then he needed to run faster than guys heavier than him in order to make people forget he's not a HR threat.

Agree. After watching him for the last 3 seasons, I would have fallen out of the chair if he ran a 4.40 or so. Hes a 210+ rb known for grinding out yards and good pass pro. Pretty rare to see those kinda guys with a rocket up their haunches. While he may run again at pro day, he did what he needed to today. I see him getting selected between 3-5th round, and making the team on special teams. After that, in the right system, who knows? But I see him earning a nice living for a few year.

That's right in the middle of the bunch for RBs. He'll be fine.
