Dabo says the team is excited to get back in conf play. UNC is 2-2 but could be 4-0. Says you can see the Mack Brown influence already.

Dabo says UNC has gotten better as games have gone along. Have good personnel inside on defense and good secondary.

On offense, UNC is very young but has 37 explosive plays. Says QB Sam Howell is like Baker Mayfield, not as fast but has toughness and grit. The bigger the moment the better he plays

Dabo says this is the best group of RBs the Tigers have faced. LeMay from Charlotte is the best back overall, but this is the best group.

Swinney says the UNC OL is young, but they do things to help them with quick passes and RPOs. Said the group is well-coached

Dabo says he might have met Mack in 93 when he was a GA at Bama after the Gator Bowl. Maybe. But real introduction came in 2009 when Dabo went out to Texas to learn about the Longhorn program

Dabo took the whole staff to Texas in 2009, and says DC Will Muschamp was very gracious with his time. Even the strength coach went on that trip. Dabo says Brown was very patient in answering questions.

Dabo says he went to a Texas practice, and he was shocked to see an interstate over the practice field. People were honking and yelling "Hook 'em!!!"

Dabo says WR Justyn Ross could have played last week but is good to go this week. Hip flexor has bothered him. At gametime Ross felt great but Dabo decided to hold him
