They were basically our equal last year and there's no reason to believe they aren't this year as well. They are very, very good.

The bucknuts are a great team - big and fast

however, their schedule is garbage:

Nebraska
Penn State
Rutgers
Maryland
Indiana
Illinois
Michigan State
Michigan

As we are seeing Penn State is NOT a top 20 team - big and slow and on track to get blown out tonight. The other currently ranked teams on the Bucknuts schedule are #17 Indiana which is a joke and #13 Michigan which is an even bigger joke. My guess is that by the time the Bucknuts finish their regular season they won't have played a true top 15 team with the real possibility that none of their opponents are ranked at the end of the season.

I do think Bucknuts are a top 3 team and will be a hard out for anyone who plays them in the CFP. But - this junk about the Big 10 being a tough league this year is a load of horse poop. The ACC may not be the toughest league out there but we are darn sure a notch or two above the Big 10.
