year. Pickle jar would get full and I'd find one of those counters and turn it into an Amazon card. I last emptied that thing in December of 2016. I'd say there is no more than $15 in it now and that is with both sharkgirl and myself adding to it.

I could see this being a problem for laundromats though.

I have a huge jar that weighs probably 60lbs.

There has to be over $300-$400 in it. It is full, but I'm so cheep I've resisted the automated counter. But then again I'm too busy to count it all and roll it too. So it sits, and has for a decade or more.

if it saves the 10% cut, I might be a taker unless there's a penalty for closing the account.

just for the ### of it....got the to point where I felt like a dumbas$ bringing it to the bank (or maybe they were going to charge for it.

So I brought it to Bilo and used the Coinstar (or similar) counter

It got it correct down to the penny - i expected it to have missed a few and be off by up to a couple bucks, but nope...

oh and I put it towards a home depot gift card, no fee taken***
