missed call by umpire in tiger-cocks Sunday game

The 1st base umpire missed on a foul call on a drive by Wilkerson that kicked up chalk when it hit ground well past first base. We had 2 men on at the time. It seemed that was a critical missed call as we would have scored one, possibly two on that ball which went into the corner.The batter then struck out for 2nd out.This was late in the game and we were leading 3-1 at the time.

I was at the game and Coach Leggett was very upset with the call.

Has anyone seen a replay on that call on you tube ?

did you see the call at coots stadium at first base that was called safe that allowed us to have a big inning? we have to live with what the ump calls. jack didn't even argue the call so he must not have been too upset.

Jack did argue the call and so did LeCroy

The ump was out of position, and turned the wrong way. But since it went past the bag, the homeplate ump couldn't overrule him.

Not upset enough to get ejected from the game.

That was the 'momentum shift' call. After that bad call, I turned to the guy beside me, and we both agreed that Clemson would proceed to lose the game.

The mentality of our guys playing the coots has got to change.
