Double Taylor Pork Roll slices, homemade sourdough English muffin, egg (with hipster Green Goblin hotsawce from local fran), and double cheese.

so how does a non-nj person rate the pork roll vs baloney?

I have a similar fried baloney sammich about once a year, only on toasted whole wheat bread to make it healthy.

so TPR is way better. Both are improved a solid 40-50% by frying. TPR tastes nothing like baloney, but it's something vaguely familiar and comparable--I'm just having a hard time fingering out what it reminds me of.

I open the cabinet that the plates are in. I grab whatever's on top. I don't question the composition of what I grab, because none of my wife's decisions make sense to me, and I don't need any explanation she might provide ricocheting around my crouton this morning.

I would have expected it served on some kind of china with a small garnish or 2. Please step up your game.
On a serious note, the sammi looks really good. May need to scout out the pork roll. Let me rephrase...I definitely don't "need" to...I want to. I "need" to NOT introduce another fattening food into my arsenal.

except the processed nitrated mixed meat.
Can I assume that chicken, steak, actual pork like ham or pork tenderloin or chops, sausage, chorizo, dog food, and bacon were not available?

You inspired to make something similar with what I had. It was an F. I didn't do it right wit the right stuff. Pepperoni? A complete F. I didn't have the right hot sauce or bread either. All in all, I regret making it.
