Also, I don't give any credence to the superstition of past games. The color of our uniforms had absolutely nothing to do with those losses.

Wait a minute... did you go to those games? If so, maybe that is the reason we lost. Stay home tomorrow. :) j/k

I'm not a fan of purple uniforms, especially for televised games. The Clemson Tigers are a brand name, and that brand needs to be promoted and protected. Most of the country outside of SC doesn't know that purple is a school color - they associate Clemson with orange (and correctly so). Broadcasting Clemson wearing purple dilutes the brand and bucks tradition.

I like the color purple, but let the fans wear it and keep it off of the football players for said reasons.
