So now we get 9 conference games, USuC and ND in some years

Sep 12, 2012, 11:18 AM

The road to the playoff just got tougher for schools like CU,GT and FSU that already have built in non conference games.

Do you REALLY think ND will even schedule CU, FSU, and VT??

Sep 12, 2012, 11:38 AM

No chance. They will play BC, MD, UVA, Duke, and Pitt (or some semblance thereof).

What ticks me off is that ND is "too good" to be a football member of the ACC, but will participate in the conference's non-BCS bowl package, which means they will profit from revenue sharing in football.

My opinion - No football? No football money, period.

They're required to play every team in the conference at least once every 3 years.

The TEXAS of the ACC

Sep 12, 2012, 11:58 AM

"The move to the ACC does not affect Notre Dame's longstanding partnership with NBC Sports. The change in affiliation is "essentially revenue neutral," Swarbrick said. "Financial implications were not a motivation.""

Let's suck it up. We don't play Alabama or LSU ever, we don't play historically good schools such as Georgia, Tenn, Florida...etc. We play FSU and VT that's it, so until we have an extremely difficult conference schedule don't whine. We have a team now that can compete with anyone. Tigers don't back down from a fight, and CLEMSON tigers definitely don't. To beat the best, you have to play the best.

Then we need to play somebody other than Notre Dame.
