you have to be able to recruit nationally....not just regionally. With Morris and Venables, at least we will be able to recruit in another region of the country. Dabo has done a great job, but its time to move to the next level.....that is how you do it.

Eh I don't think you need to recruit nationally to be nationally elite. You just need to be recruiting the right areas. I think our current pipelines are enough solely due to the fact that we have such a good presence in Florida.

However if Venables and The Chad can use their knowledge of the Texas system to pull a few prospects from the Lone Star State, you'll see no tears from me. It would be amazing if Clemson could make waves in two of the three biggest football states in the nation.

i remember it was a big deal when we pulled our first big name out of florida... now it is becoming more often. it's like dominos falling. if you can get one the you get another, and another, and another, and then the pace picks up and you're picking them up as if they were in your own home town.
