Black Americans will vote for Biden 90-10
Sep 22, 2020, 9:35 AM
|
|
or so. Thinking Hillary got 91%.
On the other hand, white rednecks without a college diploma will vote 90-10 for Trump.
In fact uneducated whites, redneck or not, will be the only group that Trump will carry in high numbers.
But back to the necks. What has Trump done the last 4 years to earn their support in such high numbers?

I’d say the 10% not voting for Biden ain’t really black, according to joe himself. Face it, both candidates are not presidential material.

Well, Joe will hire them for his White House staff. (Trump won't. Kellyanne Conway famously couldn't name a single White House staffer.) And for his vice president.
Joe won't claim with a straight face that there are no race problems in America.
Joe won't stand up and say "there were good people on both sides" after Neo-Nazis drive over and kill a woman protestor in Virginia.
It goes on. And on.
I just shake my head when people try to deny Trump's racist. It's a feature of his presidency, not a bug. He barely even bothers to hide it, most of the time, and even then it's usually with a wink and a nudge.

I can’t imagine having the gall to tell the average black American voter that sure I supported stricter penalties and opposed busing...and sure Trump had the lowest black unemployment ever and pushed prison reform through. But I will hire a dozen of you and my VP is black, so vote for me.
That is amazing that you would write that.
Trump takes action to support the black community. Biden makes symbolic gestures.

And he even had his own party running both houses for 2 years. Still couldn't get funding for his wall. Meanwhile, he's totally ruined the executive branch, and everything he has control over. He doesn't even have the support of the military. He entered office on a slate of issues, and then wrecked the place with bad leadership. Wasted opportunity for change. And sad because it only enables democrats to wreck us more broadly. Heck his Supreme Court nominees are not even following in line. GOP is like deer in the headlights, dems are all rage and anger. And here we are.

SCOTUS nominees shouldn't "follow the line"

IMHO, his picks were very well chosen.
I might not agree with the SCOTUS on the issues, but I understand their decisions and read their dissents when they ruled against.
At least his picks don't legislate from the bench (looking at you Sotomayor).

Then he complains about them not ruling his way. Just infantile. They have to be well chosen because the Senate has to approve them. Plus, to get in the conversation for the Supreme Court, you have to be at the top of your profession anyway.

when it's 90-10, you don't keep throwing hail marys to catch up. You run the ball and the clock and get out of there.
No point in Biden going from uneducated whites at that ratio.
Just like there's no need for Trump to go after the black vote.
Find other demographics that are closer to winnable.

Because that's a huge voting block and Dems may be in their best interest anyway. Biden and the Dems should not ignore them. That's why we have Trump. Dems are worried about free medical for illegals and Syrian refugees and and Repubs are worried about redneck Americans. I see a problem there.

but for this election, that voting block is gone and a waste of time and money to try to get back.
Luckily for this country, we are becoming more and more educated with more accurate information every generation. Was watching cartoons with my son earlier and one of the little "science" things they were talking about is evolution, what it is and how it works. I remember the first time I heard about evolution growing up was from my pastor who said that the devil is using the evolution lie to make us believe we are monkeys and anybody who believes in evolution is going to hell.q

That's how we got here.
The Dems don't even pretend to try to represent rural whites anymore. They refer to those as "flyover" counties and states.
The GOP doesn't isn't even trying to pretend it's actually courting minority votes right now...with the exception of Florida, where the GOP has realized it can weaponize the Cuban and Venezuelan communities who are understandably hostile to the idea of socialism...seeing as how they fled authoritarian leftist regimes.
And here we are, utterly divided, for the sake of political expediency.
That's what our Coke-or-Pepsi two-party abomination of a system gets us.

Joe, and dems for that matter have done nothing for the black community since the Civil Rights Act in the 60's.
Trump has expanded economic opportunity zones and put that into the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” she said. “He's the one who's given loan forgiveness to HBCUs [Historically Black Colleges and Universities]. And he's the one that, under his administration, took Black unemployment to the lowest level in history.

but why are you comparing black people with white rednecks? Are you implying both are uneducated and just vote dem/pub because? Why do you think Black voters vote democrat?
I would ask you what have dems done in the last 30 years to earn the support of the black voter in such high numbers?

You are definitely not giving Black Americans much credit. Why do you stereotype Black people that way? Make sure YOU go vote Nov 4th. That way you can see how Trump really does before you make up your mind.

elections on a national basis. Hillary losing with 91% of blacks pretty much confirms that. However, it's expected that Trump's 40+ percent of latino voters in Florida may give him Florida's electoral votes.

https://thehill.com/hilltv/what-americas-thinking/517428-poll-trump-approval-ticks-up-to-48-percent
"Trump has a much higher approval rating among men, 54 percent, than women, 41 percent, in the survey.
The president remains underwater with Black voters, but the poll found his support has grown among the key voting bloc.
Trump was approved by 19 percent of Black voters in a study conducted Sept. 5-8. That number increased 6 points to 25 percent in the most recent survey.
Support among White and Hispanic voters held steady, at 55 and 37 percent, respectively.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,804 registered voters between Sept. 18-21. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.9 percentage points."
