Feb 23, 2013, 9:21 PM

I eat pinto beans and cornbread four times a week and it's because it's my favorite meal.

Mayfields is the only high test buttermilk you can find here

Feb 23, 2013, 9:29 PM

in TN. The defatted buttermilk is liken to skim. It just don't have the pop.

I'm looking for someone here in farm country that produces non pasturised milk, buttermilk and butter.

I don't plan on making it a daily thing but it's not worth spending the money on the store bought stuff.

The Fat Free Southern Home (Bi-Lo) brand is not bad at all.

Feb 23, 2013, 9:40 PM

I've been drinking it for years and it's quite good.

Corporations are people. So is Soylent Green.

I prefer black beans and rice with red onion & hot sauce....

Feb 24, 2013, 12:25 PM

Maybe some plantains and scallops/shrimp/fish to compliment the meal.
