The BREATHE Act, can’t wait for the Dems to take power.....

Some real forward thinking in this one:
- Eliminating a bunch of federal agencies/programs like ICE, CBP and DEA, "dramatically" reduce the budget of the DOD
- Goal of eliminating all prisons
- Eliminate life sentences, mandatory minimums, surveillance tactics, GPS monitoring, asset seizure, 3 strike laws, all drug convictions
- Repeal of Clinton's 1994 Crime Bill
- Goal to defund the police federal, state and local, eliminate school resource officers
- Policies for educational justice including
- Free high quality school healthcare for all kids, including free abortions
- Redistribution of tax money so all schools receive equal funding
- Environmental justice - require elimination of all fossil fuels
- Support, build, preserve, and restore cultural assets and sacred sites of indigenous people (ironic since many tribes owned slaves and refused to free them after the Emancipation Proclamation)
- Felons right to vote
- Universal (Free) healthcare
- Raise the minimum wage
- Pilot for universal basic income
- Increase affordable house
- Reparations and a bunch of "direct assistance" programs

Do you oppose free high quality school healthcare for all kids, or just the abortion part? That one sounds like a good plan overall.
They don't need to eliminate all those federal agencies, but can likely reform and consolidate where possible. Small government is good, right?
Minimum wage has gone up in most states. Chipotle is still in business.

be controversial. I agree with equal funding for education (assuming funding gets spent similarly, which is probably a pipe dream). But plenty of crap - eliminate prisons, universal living wage, etc.

I hate all these things and think we should just keep doing what we're doing. America has never been better!
