Not the point, that is the only injury he has had, but it

wasn't long ago he injured it!!
He may still be recovering a bit. He may be good enough to play if needed, but not well enough to go in and take a beating!

Buice's injury is more serious than Bellamy's was. They never said exactly what Bellamy's injury was other than shoulder!!
He missed the last Scrimmage due to it! All they have said is it was nothing serious, but I have to believe that it may have something to do with his depth cahrt status!
That or his blocking!!

Nothing. DJ is the power back. Rod is in the same category as AE and MB, just doesn't bring quite as much to the table.

As much as I like the speed guys, I still like a big back to carry the rock for a guaranteed 4-5 yards like Jasmin or Merriwether used to be. I have not seen much of Buice, so I was wondering if this is the style runner he would be for us?

He and DJ both run with power. Buice has had a foot injury for a couple weeks, though.

We have to get Bellamy on the field as much as possible...

unless he's just totally out of sync with the new system, which I don't think he is.
This guy is a special type of specimen a lot like Spiller was. Get Bellamy in space against defenders and fireworks will eventually start to pop off.
I like Howard and Buice both, but if Bellamy breaks one or two in the first few weeks, we have to consider throwing him in as the #2 guy and getting him as many reps as possible.

Well, when comparing Spiller to Bush it's almost just...

splitting hairs.
Both guys have tremendous speed, very similar running styles (from their posture to the way they hold the ball, etc.) and both are dangerous receivers out of the backfield. Neither guy is going to a bruiser who totes the rock 30 times a game.
So he's a lot like both Spiller and Bush from what I've seen so far, granted Bellamy hasn't even played a college snap yet, so it's all speculation.
