sunday afternoon after we beat NC State.
It seems to me that many of you only come out to the basketball board when things go wrong. I cant for the life of me figure out what qualifies you to be a true fan when that is the case. Of course, these are the same people when we dont score 35+ in a football game that question Chad Morris and Dabo ever time we lose.
Nobody had expectations for this basketball team when the season began. They have had some ups and downs (with most of the downs being on the road.)
Some of you may quit on this team, i sure hope Brownell doesnt feel the same way. I think... actually i know, he will continue to coach his butt off and fight for our boys and this university.
This team will continue to experience some highs and lows but at the end of the season, THEN we can look back and examine as a whole. Lets not forget, just 2 weeks ago we were 0-2 (with a 30 point loss to Duke) and since then we are 4-4. This team is and will continue to grow.

I saw a Clemson team quit last night and that is hard for this fan to accept. I am a true BB fan and support him and his team all the time but last night was hard to take. It reminds me of a football team I saw quit in Miami last year. That problem as resolved quickly with coaching. We will see if this one can be solved before the Wolfies come to town. I surely hope so.
The long term answer is going to be found on the recruiting trail ..... and that will not be in some small town in Georgia or S.C.!

People always underestimate how hard it is to win on the
road especially with a young inexperienced team. Recruiting and time will solve a lot of the problems we have had this year.

Hard to win on the road, yea absolutely.
However, UVA is not a good team and BC is even worse.
I know we came back against BC, but that first half and a half was pretty scrubtastic.
We follow that game up by laying that turd up in Charlottesville last night?
I had assumed the young players would get better as the season progressed, but it looks like I may have been wrong.

NC State has lost 5 of their last 7 games.

We SHOULD beat them at home.
We have 8 games left. 4 road games against Ga Tech, Maryland, Va Tech and Miami and 4 home games against NC State, Miami, BC and UNC.
Can we go 4-4 or is 2-6 more likely?

actually, we do know that they don't play well on the road, so I think we lose all of those. Then Miami and UNC at home are likely losses. I hope we can turn it around, but the only evidence we have does not bode well.

left it out there that we signed a QB with our most recent class.
Last I checked, we didn't sign a QB. Swinney so far as lived up to his end of the bargain.
