It's a sh!tty rule, but if they called it consistently they would have called it just then.

Yep. Terrell purposefully turned his head away to avoid contact. Pickett did not...

Yeah that was messed up because he clearly was showing an abundance of caution for not hitting their QB rather than attacking him to stop him from getting the first down and the dude lowered his helmet to the side of his head to thank him for that generosity.

Which made me wonder...if a player has their head turned and can't see the oncoming player, are they at that point defenseless? Especially since he had his head turned for quite some time prior to the guy coming at him.
