Fixing the Rock

Jun 14, 2013, 12:23 AM

Can't they do something to fix it. If they could match the rock's look with some type of lamenent to fill in a portion of the chunk that may look better. Or maybe they could flip the rock upside down so the bad side would be inside the pedestal. Something... They aren't just going to leave it, are they?

I say fill the missing chunk with clear glass or something

Jun 14, 2013, 12:25 AM

to show that a piece was once there. Maybe even ##### a paw or something in it.

How tacky. don't put a paw there. That's ridiculous. I was thinking that they could make it look like damage didn't occur, at least not as extensively.

i agree...we need to do something to fill the void

was thinking a different color rock with engraving but acrylic or something would work also

Don't ruin the rock. Leave it like it is. After 10-15 years of it being touched by the players and fans it will be worn down and you won't even be able to notice anything missing. It's Howard's Rock, not Howard's Acrylic Mold. Leave it be.

The players need to feel this rough area to remind them of this and to get them pumped for revenge each game!!! GO TIGERS!!!!

The only thing that should be done to the rock is sand down

Jun 14, 2013, 9:23 AM

the rough & jagged edges so nobody cuts/scrapes himself or herself on it. Other than that, LEAVE IT BE. (and install some cameras & an alarm system inside the glass case.
