WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. F. UCK.
Red Rocks Cafe in South Park if anyone has any experience. It is restaurant week, but I may go off the menu if they don't care.

Fun Fact: I actually worked a few shifts at this

restaurant back in the early 2000s. Was between contract roles at whatever terrible banks at the time, and one of my frans was working there to supplement his school teacher income, so he got me a job. First time waiting tables in years, but it's like riding a bike. That was also the last time, and I'm roughly 100% certain I don't have the filter required to deal with restaurant shitheads anymore.
I think I worked 2 shifts before a new soul-crushing megacorpbankenterprise contract was in place.

Yes, please bring the check, and remember, I know @Obed® and @19B®...in the biblical sense.
Of course, Mr. Greenr, your meal is on the house.

Rock Hill is getting not one, but TWO new crab joints.
This is going in the newly abandoned White Horse building on Camden Ave. https://www.fierycrab.com/
And this is going in the old Mayflower Seafood location on 161. https://www.crazycrabseafood.com/

Please, let us know how the Lake Wylie shrimp and Southpark Mall fountain oysters are. They MIGHT be telling the truth about the crawfish.

I believe the majority of this thread is devoted to mocking an individual with a horribly debilitating and crippling genetic disability, thus the wheelchair they're sitting in.
Or in other words, the lunge.

and go to Aqua e Vino. Legit italian chef that owns the place, makes his own pasta and only like 5 or 6 tables.
Seriously, Red Rocks is a pretty standard fare type place so not anything I think is a must or that'd I'd avoid. It's locally owned and been around since the turn of the century so they are doing something right.
If you want to take the wife out to a nice intimate dinner and have some good food I would really suggest Aqua e Vino though.

In the same area, is Barrington's still around?

That was one of my favorite fine dining places in Charlotte. Similar to Aqua, it had 6-7 tables, the menu was created daily, and the Chef was world-class.

Owner now has two additional restaurants, Good Food On Montford and Stagioni's, both are pretty good but very different vibes than Barrington's.

It was absolutely solid, but I'm still more inclined to saunter down to Moosehead if I'm on Montford Dr.
Never heard of Stagionis.

That being said, Poundtown should still be visited after this evening.
