The flights from Atlanta to Phoenix were fairly reasonable..

it was the flights home that were outrageous.

Flying out of Vegas back to Atlanta was much more affordable.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.


A lot of folks flew to Vegas last year and drove from there

to the game. There were enough in on this that a bus was chartered. The flights were cheaper to Vegas, and even with the bus charter it was cheaper. That said, that was a week after January for the title game last year, this year the semi is on New Year's Eve, so the flights into Vegas may be more expensive than last year.

It is worth checking out.

You can still get a Southwest flight in and out of Tucson, Arizona for +/- $580. The drive from Tucson to Phoenix is about 1 hour 45 minutes.
