and Oklahoma ... In that same span Clemson won two bowl games against ... Ohio St and Oklahoma. Get some little Nikki Saban!

GT, TCU, ND, Ohio St., and Wisconsin just didn't want to be there. They all thought they would be playing for a NC a month ago.....wait, it doesn't work that way does it? The "strongest division" in the "strongest conference" goes 2-5 in bowl games (playing NON SEC TEAMS). LMAO! What a joke! It may've been the only time I've ever pulled for The Suckeyes, but they did make it to the NC by beating The Fighting Napoleon Complexes in the Sugar Bowl. Glad to hear Bama has finally decided to play some OOC teams with a pulse. I think I heard they may be playing Wake Forest? Either way, they can't play Wake every year for their 1 decent OOC game. It's a step up from Ga. St, but eventually the chips will fall to where they have to play a team that's a legitimate contender in their respective conference. I've learned one important thing from this years SECW bowl games; That being that just because ESPN puts them on a pedestal every year, eventually they'll get a game against a solid OOC team (take TCU as this years example) and we'll clear the air of this nonsense. How many weeks was Miss St. ranked #1 for this year? Someone should've told them they're not supposed to beat mighty Miss St. 42-3(?) or some absolute blowout score I can't recall at the moment).

Alabama didn't want to be in the Sugar Bowl last year because it wasn't the National Title game, and Bama didn't want to be in the Sugar Bowl this year because it would have put them in the National Title game.
