Another recruiting tool to add to the war chest? Maybe put him on duty in tenn? I smell greatness with this one.

Player development? What does that entail?

Because its known Dabo is giving up salary for assistants which no supposedly major conf. Head coach should ever have to do.

Dabo is looking for the big payoff later

Jun 19, 2012, 10:57 PM

He wins Championships....the bonus money alone will make him richer.....he is already getting rich on his meager salary....lol meager

Putting the best prepared players on the field, and winning means more to Dabo than making Millions. With Dabo, its about doing the best for his players. And before its all said and done, it is going to pay him back double. Dabo maybe the next God father of college coaching like the OLD A$$ spurhead.

You do realize that if we are indeed joining the Big XII, the people that approve these hires did so because we have planned for the extra $$ coming in. One huge benefit of that big XII money would be hiring a large support staff.

On the flip side we did get an extra 1.6 mill this year from the ACC for having 2 BCS bowl teams.

He already brought a guy with him from Tulsa that has been training with him for years. I believe his name is Justin.

Coach Morris isn't going no where for a long time.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

IF he decides to leave for a head coaching job, noone

Jun 20, 2012, 12:43 AM

including myself, will think any less of him for leaving. This guy is a head coach in the making, I just hope he sticks around till his daughter graduates, but if a top 30 program comes knocking, he's gone.

Yep, he is gonna be in Morris' back pocket. Smart move. IMO.***
