I think we are past labeling every mobile, black QB as "the next Michael Vick." Plenty of examples of different body types and skillsets to dissolve this stereotype.
On the flip side...racially...do you ever think we are ever going to get away from labeling every white, slot WR as "the next Wes Welker."

The "next Micheal Vick" is a white kid who plays for Texas A&M. He is the most electric QB since Vick, and has a similar playing style, but I don't think I've ever heard the comparison.

because they're on the same team and play different positions.
Shorter white slot guys are going to be compared to Welker, but any guys who are true wideouts aren't.
