Why did the people of Britain think that exiting the EU was a good idea?
Their economy is so tangled in it, any idiot could see that getting out of the EU would hurt.

The EU is a cluster #### waiting to blow.

Always has been really. This idea that you can connect all these western European countries economically, while having different cultures, languages, values, and politics? It's a recipe for disaster. It almost came to blows with Germany and Greece. The real danger here is Germany's economy is head and shoulders above other EU members. As such, they're pulling the lions share of the weight in bailing our socialist places like Greece. That creates animosity and angst. The EU will eventually light a powderkeg IMO. Germany will get pizzed off. Just wait. It will happen. That continent has been fighting itself for thousands of years, and unless EU members have evolved to Star Trek levels, it will light again.

to see all the new infrastructure in the poor regions. Portugal is very derivable now thanks to nice new EU paid highways. Same is true of Sicily. All paid for by the German taxpayer and to a lesser extent French and UK.

The day will come when the economic inequality will

cause REAL strife. Odds are it will involve Germany. When it happens, and Germany pays a BIG economic price, the German people will revolt, and things could get ugly. Three countries make up over 50% of the total EU GDP.
England sees this dynamic and is bailing while (if) they can. This is ultimately a recipe for an eventual war. I said that in the 1990's, and I figured around 2015 things would start to unravel. Greece was almost a disaster. Cypress WAS a disaster. When you get a truly large country (in population) that defaults, there will be a bigger problem. I predict Spain or Italy just based on their GDP versus Debt ratio.

Pooty's stickin' his nose where it don't belong. Somebody's gonna smack it right off his face before long.
Nobody wants a bunch a po ### people comin' in that you gotta take care of. They don't speak the language, they look weird, smell weird, and act weird. And dang if some of'em ain't hostile (usually the 2nd gens). Can't keep'em all and make'em act like you want'em to and you can't throw'em all out. It's the deciding who stays and goes thats hard.

Commenting on the EU. Beautiful.
I bet you think we are infinitely more racist than every single European county too, don't you?
