hydroxychloroquine debate

Aug 10, 2020, 11:22 AM

It is very obvious that the use of HCQ has been politicized.

When it was first brought up by Trump, the dems and liberal news
outlets jumped at that b/c he suggested it might be as he said the
"a game changer". He was lambasted for saying that because he wasn't a Dr.

Well then it was deemed ineffective by 2 studies that were written and published
by Doctors who have an active presence in the pharma co. Gilead who are promoting
their vastly more expensive and unproven drug Remdesivir (sp)

Since then may other doctors, including the head epidemiologist from France
has come out and decried those studies that were reported in the New England
Journal of Medicine and Lancet. He claimed that the data from those studies
did not undergo peer review and had not been released prior to publication.
The epidemiologist from France claimed that Gilead reps were putting pressure
on those magazines and FDA to kill HQC as a treatment and promote their unauthorized
Redesivir.

As it turns out now the countries that allow their Drs. to proscribe HQC in
the onset of the Covid infections are having much better results with their patients

Then what happens in USA.. the govs. of the blue states are trying to outlaw HQC's use
and are essentially helping keep the infected sick when it could help. And the media
is helping them do it by stopping an effective treatment in the early stages of disease.

The media, the politicians, the corrupt Drs. all should burn in hell for allowing
politics and greed to influence their actions. Thousands of elderly and patients with
previous conditions could have been saved.

What a total mess. It makes me sad that our American Drs. won't stand up to this
for fear of losing their standing in hospitals and clinics. And the FDA won't sanction
something that is working well in other countries.

I hate all politics..whichever side your on.

We shouldn't listen to the politics of it...

The only people I would listen to on the subject are my personal physician, and the guidelines set forth by the FDA/CDC on the subject, since that is their function in this country.
