get as excited about a 9-0 Clemson football program, #2 in the official play-off rankings with a Top 10 SOS, coming off a 54-0 thrashing of Syracuse and a Tiger team with a good chance of playing for the national championship AGAIN...as they are about a 20-year old freshman QB on a sorry team in a sorry division who have yet to even attain enough wins against an awful schedule to go to whatever bowl is in Shreveport.....
Bentley may wind up being as good as the chickens pray he is, but beating 3 miserable teams in a row at home who have a combined record of approx 10-20 is not worthy of the attention being paid to the usuck program by the broadcast and print media in 2/3 of South Carolina---who are apparently as desperate for some minor chicken football success as their deluded, stupid fans are.

Usually I take the opposite opinion the media takes. If the media likes the chickens, that makes me even prouder to be a Tiger.

Agreed. But, most journalists are lazy, prejudiced slugs that regurgitate what their fellow journalists say. No work or logic or truth required by that. The coots and uncheat have schools of journalism and they stick together to try and support their schools without any shame or thought of integrity. Look at the sports writers and journalists for your local papers and tv stations and see where they went to school.

You know its funny last night I was thinking the same thing while watching the local news in Charleston - Live 5 News - and the sports segment had a long story about the chickens and their awesome offense, then switched to a story about the Citadel. I appreciate that the Citadel is doing really well and are LOCAL so there is validity to that coverage...but I said to my wife "what about the Tigers" following with the same points you made. Sorry SOS
