I got a girl who’s interested...

A friend of a friend passed that along so asking her out is pretty much a sure thing. Thing is, I’m not sure I’m 100% attracted to her. It’s nothing physical (she’s pretty cute) but her personality seems very strong. Strong as in, I’ll probably never wear the pants in that relationship. She seems very opinionated and not afraid to tell you her thoughts. She’s a good girl though...not trashy in the least. She’s a southern, country girl (a Clemson fan to boot).
Thoughts? Experiences? Should I run or dive in? I’m getting to an age where dating needs to have long term commitment as an option...not looking for a fling.

man to be a man. I have plenty of experience with women who won't. In fact, I'd say if you want to wear the pants in a relationship nowadays you should probably start dating other men.
I hear some gays can really love a man like a woman should. I have no experience with that but I reckon if I ever get in another relationship I might give gay a whirl.
I've been trying it with women for much too long with absolutely no success and I refuse to go through it again.

And then a lot depends on you also. So there's that. My experience more often than not is strong women are awesome in bed because they're totally opposite. That being said, they also have issues and their strength is usually fake and they're hiding a bunch of crap. So there's that. If you can see through her crap, you're gold. So there's that.

1) As for whether you should hit it: anytime you are young and single and an attractive vag you want to dig in is willing, saddle up. 20, 40, 60 years from now, you’ll have a lot more fond memories of the ones you dipped in than regrets. In fact, my ONLY regrets are the many I passed on because of ridiculous“standards” that have disintegrated after my ~32nd birthday. Put any 40 year old man on a college campus and ask him what his standards were at 18-22, then ask him what they would be with those women now- the former answer will be stupidly picky in insignificant areas, the latter answer will likely be “18-22, not morbidly obese, no major obvious deformity, young, tight,18-22”... So yeah- Cliffs version- hit it now, cherish those memories the rest of your life.
2) As for this LTR crap: grandfather of ICT (a wise man) once told me, “If it floats, flies, or focks, it’s cheaper to rent than buy.” As a married fool (locked down with a kid too), I am offering you the same wisdom with the hopes that you utilize it more intelligently than I did...
