The mental toughness to get the win in the face of adversity and continuing to fight til the very end. Watsons 2 INT were not good plays, a couple defensive lapses and some misses on Watson that good have extended drives and possibly put this game out of reach earlier. Really don't understand how you don't understand....

We made it hard on ourselves by giving up the kick return, and the couple of deep passes for them to get into field goal range but had the mental toughness to not let our mistakes beat us.

I take it to mean that we had plenty of opportunities to get down or give up, but we didn't.

We kept fighting after the second roughing the passer, after the interceptions, after the silly defensive holding call, after the no call on the face mask and after the reversal of the first down. There were too many daggers plunged into my heart tonight.

First, you answer the question "what did you learn from your team tonight?" With "mental toughness", then elaborate on it by acknowledging that most of the adversity was self-inflicted by saying "we made it harder than it had to be". Not really sure where you're getting lost here, but if you watched the game it's pretty self explanatory. Take off COOT.
