Waiting for https://konnected.io/ to either become compatible w/ my Wink smart home stuffs, or I get a different hub/system

would rather use my existing built-in /hardwired system, and just update the smarts

that said, I've recently gotten some cameras.... Wyze brand, highly praised, and SUPER F'n inexpensive. They've got a 2-camera set ($50) on amazon that's slightly cheaper w/ Prime (free s&H) than it is buying on their own site (after S&H), but buying more than that, it's cheaper to go off their site if you don't care about shipping times. They've even got a panning camera. Both have been favorably compared to the quality and features of Nest cams....except that the 2 week cloud storage is free, AND there's sd card slots for non-stop recording

They've got a sensor kit that incorporates right into the camera as a bridge....$20 gets you 2 open/close sensors and a motion detector.

I haven't used that, but the cameras are great, so I'd assume the quality and usability carries over to their other items
