Never see anything about him. He will likely transfer unless he is good enough to start over Brice when/if Lawrence leaves early. But excited to see how he plays I haven’t even saw highlights on him. Anybody else know anything

Talking about Taisun Phommachanh, our 2019 commit, I assume? He’s a talented guy with his legs, but is very raw passing the ball. The knock is he misses high a lot, possibly trying to throw it too hard. Will need development, but is a huge depth piece for 2019. Hopefully we land DJ U in 2020. Phommachanh is very reminiscent of Zerrick Cooper to me, just a little taller, but similar mechanics

This kid doesn't have the cannon Zerrick Cooper has. He can spin it pretty good; but not like that. Interesting signing to say the least; knowing full well TL16 is on board for at least two more years! Do you know if he is signing as an athlete or a QB?
We need QB depth; so it will be great if so. Just curious!

And please stay with me w/o going deep in your feelings when I say this - as potent as our offense is - it could be that much more potent with a QB run game. No. I don't want TL running it as much as DW4 and TB10 did! No where near! If this kid can throw it vertically - "no just bubble screens and shallow outs" once TL has gone on to the league; he could be potent for us! What we have to do is hope he improves those high passes( if that is indeed the knock on him) in two years!
