Looks like we found our replacement for Mullen. Kendrick did switch jersey #'s to 1.

That's the most likely reason , but there is no doubt that if he is really really good Brent Venables could steal him away from the offensive coaches .
BV gets his dudes. .. have you seen him stare at anybody ?

You're correct, but he's probably the most competitive, fiery player on our team and definitely one of the fastest. So, I can totally see him jumping at the chance to try out DB in practice just as a way to directly compete against the other receivers and push them to be better. Maybe also to rub it in their face a little too, haha!
