...uh... ummmm... I'm waiting for someone to bring up 4th and 1 vs Troy... and 65 or so yards later....

.....because I'm certainly not gonna mention it... and if they do mention it, I'll bet they'll have some snarky comment about that same D line and D coach BV....

...just sayin'....

That was one play and we sold out on the middle run. Look at the OU game to see how we handle a mobile qb. LJ is going to get his plays, but our D can handle a mobile qb. We also have several ppl that can mimic him in practice.

him from running he will make mistakes. People don't seem to realize he was at Louisville last year too. Clemson only saw him maybe twice in the game but he's nothing we haven't seen before. That being said he's going to make some plays with his legs. I think we will do a great job limiting him but you don't completely shut out a player like Lamar Jackson. We are built to stop the run and running QBs. Just look at Baker Mayfield. Many here thought he'd throw up points at will on our defense but it didn't happen because Brent Venables knows how to stop a run first QB.

This was my thought. I was thinking in the past how we were able to contain Braxton Miller and Baker Mayfield. They will make plays but limiting those plays is key. BV has a lot of experience defending forcing qbs to make plays with their arm.
