Another TDP error. When he extended his contract and set him up for life, there should've been a stipulation that if terminated, he could never speak of his time at Clemson again.

they apparently forced him to fly back to Clemson and give TB an extension when the Arkansas rumors that TB's agent fabricated started to swirl.
I said then and I say now that we should've called his bluff. He would've been back coaching at Clemson for less money and firing him would've been much cheaper.

he set this program up for the run we are on now... Could he ever get over the hump? No.
But he inherited nothing, got the facilities ball rolling, and started recruiting elite talent to Clemson...
and all Clemson fans should be grateful... Our program has the identity and character it does because Bowden started it, and Dabo continued it

realize he never got over the hump. He doesn't understand he didn't meet expectations. Even after getting fired.
He needs to appreciate all the extra chances this program gave him and learn to shut up. Just don't say anything and we can appreciate you for what you were...a mediocre coach who helped and did not destroy the program. Period. Act like it and we will show that level of appreciation. But he can't do that. It's unfortunate.

Geez still apologizing for Bowben. He was a joke of a football coach. Only good thing he did was hire Dabo.
I could sit here and give you 50 examples why he was a terrible football coach, i'll just say this: the only reason he hung around for 8 1/2 years was his daddy was at Florida State and he was able to beat South Carolina. Otherwise he would've been fired in 2004.

He also gave us zero ACC championships, regular beat downs by Wake and BC, and a nickname ending in --"ing" that took the better part of a decade to vanquish.
Like I said, I could appreciate him for the few positives he did give if he could keep his mouth shut about Clemson.
