have the Panthers ever drafted a Clemson player?

seems odd that very few Clemson guys have ever even played for them, with all the Clemson connections it has in the past (first season, Richardson family, etc.).

I don't think they have but we are going to the next level with NFL production here soon and will be very surprised if they don't.

I don't think they have. I've noticed a similar trend. Seems like they are pro-SCar and don't want anything to do with Clemson when it comes to their players. They've drafted a ton of Gamecocks though. There is definitely something strange about that. It does seem like they have made a conscious effort not to draft any Tigers.

From CU Whitley, Buckner, & Austin has played for the Panthers. From the coots it has been Brinkley, Munnerlyn, & the o-lineman that retired last year. Fill me in on any others.

I used to be a Panthers fan, started to notice that they would not draft Clemson players even at positions they had a need for. Seems like its intentional. I thought they were supposed to be the Carolina Panthers as in North and South Carolina. They played there first season in Death Valley. Guess that Sh#t hole down the road in Columbia wasn't good enough for them yet there players are and Clemson are not. So F*em!
