Just wondering. I hear so much about how many games they have won,but nothing on loses. Guess I could have done my own research, but Bama fatigue is setting in nicely. TIA

It's difficult to say, because prior to the BCS, we very rarely had a true "national championship game."
In the BCS era, they're 4-0 under Saban. But in major bowl games that aren't the title game (insane to think they've played in more natty's than major bowls since then), they're 1-3 including last week's playoff win.

1992 was 1 vs 2. So was 1979. Would have to look it up to find more.

of the outcomes of games. Why do you think everybody acts like that Ole Miss loss didn't count?
look it up - they have lost bowl games and still declared themselves National Champs. They have finished 3rd in the SEC and declared themselves NC. One of the more pathetic things there is in college athletics. They have 10 legit - TEN!!! - championships, but they still feel the need to invent others so they have 15 or 19 or however many. So they can compare themselves with Notre Dame or Princeton or somebody, I guess.

And 41 was awarded by an ncaca recognized selector, and it was decided to claim that one lieu of 1945, which is a better and more legit claim. Bama was undefeated and beat USC 34-0 in the rose bowl that year

Just give them a fake title or prepare for them to succeed from the Union again. Let's prevent a hillbilly uprising, ok?

I think they would have lost to Texas

if Colt McCoy would not have gotten injuried so early in the game. The passing attack Texas had that season was nearly unstoppable. Instead it turned into Bama putting a physical beat down on the horns and the start of Bama's title run.

Of course that's what you think. I guess if Perine didn't get hurt could say the same. Fact is they lost and the rest is history. There's really only one way to strip this 2015 team of a NC. On the field. You want to talk 1941 NC, go ahead. In 70 years they will say the same thing about 2011NC. Bama didn't even win their own division, bla bla bla. BCS irrelevant, only AP counts, bla bla bla

McCoy got hurt in the first quarter and was out all game.
Perine got hurt late in the 3rd quarter when Clemson was up 13 and then he re-entered. So he sat out a few plays.
A worse comparison cannot be found
