Due to be renewed in September. Got some time, but really don't want to do the whole DMV thing, PLUS I have to go and give them my birth certificate, social security card, most recent water bill, and my 2nd born son, to get the freaking federal ID.

got the real ID done. I think they looked at the electric bill and my DL.
I gotta get my passport renewed though. It expires next week.

If you haven't already checked there is a link on the DMV website where you can check to see if they may already have the documentation/proof of residence needed from previous transactions. It wasn't the case for me, i had to go in with all the paper. But some of my employees had their documentation on file already and were able to request the RealID online and it was mailed to them.

Read where if you got your license after 2010 they most likely already have your documents for a Real ID. Got mine in 2014 and they don't. Deadline for the new ID has been extended to October.

about the easier DMV transaction I'd ever done. It was a pretty easy day all around really.
Movers were on time and done in 2 hours.
No hassle at the DMV
Then no hassle at the tax office with that from to take property tax from 6 to 4%.
