There have been articles with DV at #1, #4, etc. But to me Death Valley, Clemson, S.C. will always be #1. There is no other like it and I always get chills when I see it. other stadiums....well...they're there.

At the first game each year I get emotional when the Tigers run down the hill thanking God I'm back for another Clemson Football Season. I've been to a lot of away games and bowl games but there is no place like the Real Death Valley. I've been lucky enough to attend every Clemson game played in Death Valley since missing 1 game in 1972. GO TIGERS !

Weren't we ranked #1 by them last year?

Wonder why we dropped. We should be #1 every year. I think it was Joe Schad who said death valley was loudest stadium he ever heard during the Louisville game last year.

I wonder if we will ever increase capacity. Our current capacity of 81,500 is smaller than everyone except Oregon. I suspect the east side of the stadium is the limiting factor, but no Tiger fan wants to bulldoze The Hill.

Just make the upper deck wrap around and leave the hill alone.
That said, I don't know that we'd fill it. Outside of 1-2 big games a year, we don't fill the current stands (big empty sections in upper corners).

seemed strange that UGA is ahead of us.

I went to the game last year there and their tailgating is scattered around the whole city. The stadium itself was ok, but there wasn't as much tradition as Clemson and the crowd wasn't very loud until they knew they had won in the 4th QT.
I wasn't impressed.
