Commits, surgery and more!!!!

Hey everybody, just wanted to throw a quick thank you to everybody that's checked in on me. I guess I could have picked a better time to have surgery, but with the time it takes to heal I needed to be off crutches when spring practice starts next month. It was microfracture - the same stuff as Jadeveon Clowney - but unlike Clowney I am already putting weight on the leg and the Texas have contacted me about fulfilling Clowney's contract since I'm tougher. Guess we will see....

Now on to the recruits - we are geared up for a HUGE day tomorrow.....and it's really more about 2016 than 2015. Before we get to 2016, however, let me start in with 2015 and Cain and McCloud. Been in constant contact with those camps, and there is really nothing to report and I'm glad we haven't had to run any stories or set anybody straight because we ran away with rumors. All quiet on that front, and we fully expect both to sign with Clemson tomorrow. Cain should be in early, and McCloud at three.

On to 2016...the Tigers could get as many as four commitments tomorrow. I just got off the phone with WR Cornell Powell (we posted an updated to break the news he will be committing tomorrow). Powell, Feaster and Skalski all are announcing tomorrow, and I expect all will be giving their verbals to Clemson. Add in Jack DeFoor, who told me it could be any day this week, and the number could go as high as four.

For Feaster, I've heard that one school in particular has made a late, hard push but it's "too little, too late." We will be on hand when he announces at six.

If you're keeping count - and I do - you will note that Clemson could exit tomorrow's festivities with three 4-stars and one 5-stars in the fold for 2016. Nine ACC programs head into tomorrow with five 4-stars or less, and Clemson has already passed them for 2016. Things are rocking and rolling right now.
