Right after getting a fire going in the fire pit last night for s’mores, we went under a tornado warning and were instructed to seek shelter. I think my wife was glad because there was a yuge tarantula that I had to keep spraying off the patio with the hose. So, I hosed out the fire, and we gathered up the kids and sat in the bathroom for about 45 mins. I never got to take a shower and still smell like fire with maybe a hint of tarantula. But at least we didn’t deaded.

If a tornado comes

you will hear it and have a minute or two to seek shelter. A tornado warning just means heavy thunderstorms...well unless you are in the mid west somewhere

Warning means a tornado has been sighted.

Watch is that conditions are right for them. It was pretty bad out there last night. I think one touched down not too far from the house. A neighborhood over or something. Just heard my wife mention it this morning. Haven’t seen any details.

to see one - there are tornado like conditions. Watch being where those conditions may occur, but have not yet.
