Great report on The Valley vs. Willy B...

1. Death Valley ranked 3rd in nation… http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1605945-power-ranking-every-bcs-college-football-stadium/page/73
ranked behind only Alabama and Michigan… Known nationwide as "Death Valley," this venue is one of the best places in the country to enjoy a college football game. It seats 80,301 and was built in 1942. The stadium will be filled with orange, as the crowd loves to support their Tigers. There are not many fans in the country that are more passionate about their team than this group… The noise in here is as loud as it gets in college football. Certainly one of the best stadiums in the country...
2. Williams Brice ranked 37th… http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1605945-power-ranking-every-bcs-college-football-stadium/page/39
ranked behind Cincinnati, Maryland, Central Florida, Louisville, NC State…just to name a few. Not to mention the real SEC teams and other Big Boy teams…
Williams-Brice Stadium is one of the larger stadiums in the country, with a seating capacity of 80,250. Built in 1934, it is also relatively old as far as stadiums are concerned…There is just something missing that keeps it out of the top tier SEC stadium…As one of the 20 largest stadiums in the country, this place can get a loud at various times throughout the game, and while it is not one of the top stadiums in the SEC, there is a lot here to enjoy on a Saturday afternoon.

It is pretty bad when you are ranked behind Maryland.

To be honest, that article lost a ton of credibility with me when it ranked Maryland as high as it did.

No- because he's just guessing

He has Maryland's stadium ahead of Ok State, Oklahoma, Va. Tech, and others.
He's just throwing stuff at a dart board - which is perfectly fine. It's the Bleacher Report - it is what it is.

is fully accurate.
Any non-biased observer would agree that Death Valley far outclasses the dead roach.

that's the way it works.
It's an opinion blog- that's what it's for - which is fine.
It's good discussion this time of the year I guess. Wait a year and another poll will come out ranking pretty much the same thing- with a different spin on it.
Best tailgating Loudest Stadiums Greatest stadiums Best Party Atmosphere etc...

They are not baseless opinions that roll in time and time again.
Different "spin" or not, Clemson wins all of those categories every single year by every single third party publication. Clemson's stadium and surroundings win hands down. Always have. You would be lying if you tried to say otherwise.
Funny you mentioned "spin" though, Miss Tymick. That's all you ever do here.

The only way WB is #3 for home field advantage is if the visiting team got ill from doo-doo ice in the Gator Aid.

there is no way that Williams Brice is ranked behind some of those schools. Columbia and the tailgating sucks, but they fill the stands and the sandstorm intro is pretty intense.

Like others have said, Bleacher Report is trash, unless it's on your side.
Alas, I have to agree that I like the setup of Clemson's stadium more. It's nice having all that open grass to tailgate instead of fighting for inches at WB.
That said, I think it does provide a little more intimidating environment for away fans who aren't used to the setup.
Fortunately for the Garnet and Black, the stadium appeal/rankings doesn't seem to be affecting on-field performance.
