My friend used to own the Floyd country store where Floyd fest started. Back then it was mostly local/regional bluegrass bands.

Also, Acoustic syndicate I love. When I was a young teen we would go to a venue called Green Acres in Rutherfordton NC (AS from Shelby). It was just a small shack style stage and everyone camped there that night. Plenty of moonshine and much other stuff to go around. Great memories

and told wild tales of the debauchery that existed. Greenr never went there but saw Acoustic a good bit in the early 2000s
