There Should Not Be Any Polls Until Last Round

What should happen with a playoff situation is each conference should produce a champion. The Conference Championship Game should be considered the first round of the playoff.

Round 1 of Playoff

PAC 12 Champ BIG 12 Champ B1G Champ SEC Champ ACC Champ BIG EAST Champ

Round 2 of Playoff

PAC 12 vs BIG EAST BIG 12 vs ACC BIG vs SEC


Round 3 of Playoff - This is where a coaches poll would come into play. They would vote for the number 1 seed. The number 1 seed gets a bye while the number 2 and number 3 seed face each other.


National Championship Game


The winner of Round 3 would face the Number 1 seed. Both Teams would get a two week period of prep. And the game would be played to see who the best team in the nation truly is. This eliminates conference biases and really allows for a team to compete for the Title as the BEST team in the nation. Just my two cents for what it's worth. Hope that helps. GO TIGERS!

interest in college football. Also, 4 team playoff is perfect because with only 4 you don't water down the regular season.

I would miss the polls if they didn’t exist. It’s fun to know where teams are ranked, even if I sometimes disagree.

Sometimes we take these things way too seriously.
