Why tweet or announce it? I mean, don't we all know that the team wears orange on white at home and all white on the road? If there is a championship game, we see orange britches, and if it's military appreciation then we see purple.
If the team switched it up like in the Bowden era, then I'd get it, but it seems they have a formula now so it's non-news.
Also, not knowing until the team gets off the bus was kinda cool back in the day. Like when they'd warm up in orange on white, then switch to orange pants and surprise the crowd. Hatfield even did it with purple jersey's a few times.

The only way you'd see that nowadays is for the military appreciation day game to also coincide with the team winning the ACC Atlantic. If that ever happens, then I guess we'll see purple jerseys with orange pants (which I liked btw).

No disrespect intended, but the answer is still the same. Recruits like it, it creates more tweets and retweets to expand the brand.
Clemson's social media dept is second to no one in the country.

Such as a snippet of practice? Or snippets of preparation, film watching, coaching, etc...to show the team means business. Why do they have to focus on the uniforms we already know they'll be wearing?

they post clips of that stuff too. We had highlights of our okloahoma drills recently. You have to continually post stuff so it shows up in the user's "feed".
They are going to post as much content as possible if it's relevant to our program.

This is exactly my point. Why tweet it when there is absolutely nothing to "find out"? We all know that the team always wears orange on white at home unless it's championship implications or military appreciation. Other than those two things the uniform is always the same.

I've learned not to be shocked by the amazing things Dabo and Co. can pull off, but if they can get Auburn to wear our uniforms, this I gotta see.
