I miss having a big game on most weekends

Even Tigernet is bored discussing Loserville! The most attention our game this weekend gets is the little crawler at the bottom of the screen on ESPN that shows the matchup and time. We're a 37 point favorite, so there's nothing much to say! But I do miss having some competitive teams on the schedule. Makes game week, and game day, a lot more fun.
Now back to your regularly scheduled discussion of UCF and Notre Dame....

Same with the rest of the ACC, unfortunately.... Then there's SC, who pretty much always sucks. It'll be a "big game" around here, but not anywhere else.

Down year for the league

Unfortunately I don’t know that it improves significantly the next year or two.
Here’s a bar debate some buddies and I have had: if we could trade places with the Coots in the SEC, would you do it?

I could think of a few reasons.
Significantly more money, more night games, better annual crossover game than GT, and we’d be moving into an easier division.
It will never happen but if the opportunity arose, I think it’s one we would jump on

Has absolutely nothing to do with the product on the field, isn’t it?
What bad teams do against even worse teams also has nothing to with Clemson either if you want to be a d!ck about it

ask dabo about the syracuse game vs Clemson in 2017
or Clemson vs Pitt in 2015.
now do you undetstand why every game is big in spite of your perception of quality?
best of wish to you. .I hope your game prep goes well.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I just look at the play of the team. How the O and D do. How ET, Trevor and Christian do. It's a fun thing to watch our players do well. A punt return that goes all the way would be cool too.

Yeah, they're not talked about because nobody expects them to win. Anything. Ever. I'd much rather be not talked about because we're expected to win so big. But it's still nice to turn on Sportscenter or whatever on a Wed or sometime and hear some talk of our next game. Or having a night game, which comes with the big games. Oh well. Not complaining.

I like it just the way it is. Don’t have to worry if we will make a bowl or if we can beat wake or duke. I don’t miss that one bit
