When I was in 8th grade I memorized

the serial number on my calculator....RCI160596. One day my calculator went missing but just a couple days later my teacher said "I found this calculator, is anyone missing one?" So immediately I blurted out my serial number, but it did not match.
As I reflect on this I realize I should have just said "yes". Then I would not have needed to buy a new calculator.

You know, that's kind of a long-winded way of saying that
