They played extra games. So they led the overall TFL. When you averaged it by game they were 3rd and 5th.
ESPN wasn't trying to screw you over.

Fair enough, but they didn't write it correctly...
If you are going to reference the total number of TFLs, the rank you reference should tie to that number...
Had they gone w/ TFL/game and ranked 3rd and 5th, that wouldve been correct.
Weren't trying to screw anyone over, but a poor job nonetheless...

There was a tie at #1 between a player from Louisville and Arizona State.
The #4 was from Northwestern.

The reason they show it that way is the other 2 have 1.73 TFLPG while Lawson has 1.7. He's behind them by 0.03.
