rival. Their only conference title was in the 60's when things were much different and they were the only team in a very small conference with a winning record. They've never played in a big bowl and once they played for a conference championship at it was the most lopsided game in history.
Of course they ask as stupid question. They have no other experience.

And a question that if he is at least 15, he knew the answer to. Don't make Dabo tell them how we beat the coots 8 of 10 right before our coach got fired and gave the coots a 5 year reprieve. But we hired a WR cheer leader, and it's back to our usual beat down of the chickens 4 years at a time win streaks. Yep, we have put the coots back to eating from the bottom with all other bottom feeders!!! Yes sir, living in south carolina as a Clemson Tiger fan is a wonderful life to live!!! Gooo Tigerssss, and FU ou!!!!

We had to be one of the teams they looked at when we were running things in the ACC all those years ago. Whether Florida State will admit it or not they had to look at other successful programs before they started going all over the country and taking on everybody. I believe we were one of those programs that they looked at as well as others.
Clemson was on its way back to another title until that Punt Rooski play went down. That loss really rocked Clemson deeper than anyone could imagine over time. Thus later on Danny Ford was gone....then came Ken Hatfield and then our program just crumbled after that because of that big huge shot we took from Florida State and that Punt Rooski.
Just my observation over the years.
Thanks Coach Swinney for building Clemson back up again.....and thanks Coach Tommy Bowden for having Dabo on your staff to trust him with leading the team after your departure.

It took all those years to recover from dismissal of DF.
