answer. In my heart, I truly want to say no, they shouldn't be destroyed because like you said, they do have half of a soul. However, the unfortunate reality is they're a carrier for the ginger gene, and for us to truly have a sustainable ginger-free world, they must be eliminated or either sterilized. Sterilization with the elimination of any current children would be the most humane option IMO.
